Patch

Patch is a series of acoustic panels made from several different textiles put together. We designed it for the textile producer Gudbrandsdalen Uldvarefabrikk, which produce and sell the product from their 120 years old mill. The panels also contain elements of mirror, polished brass and Norwegian stone.

Contrasts

GU produces high quality woolen textiles for furniture upholstery, and Patch is their first product for the end consumer market. Although their textiles are of the highest quality, juxtaposing the textiles from GU with other materials such as mirrors, brass and stone further enhances the qualities of the different textiles.

The acoustic panels are framed with white stained pine frames, to further enhance the textiles and the panels, treating them like a painting.
